Riyogya

About

A software company based in Sindhanur, not visiting it

Riyogya was founded in Sindhanur on a simple idea: the same team that designs a product should be the one that builds and supports it. Today we serve schools, hospitals and businesses across Raichur district and the wider Kalyana-Karnataka region — in person, not over a helpdesk ticket.

What we value

Craft over speed

We'd rather ship something well-made a week later than something fragile on time.

Ownership

Every engineer on a project understands the business problem, not just the ticket.

Long-term thinking

We build systems we'd be comfortable maintaining ourselves, five years from now.

Areas we serve

Riyogya is headquartered in Sindhanur and works on site with schools, hospitals and businesses across Raichur district and the Kalyana-Karnataka (North Karnataka) region. Remote engagements are welcome from anywhere in India.

Leadership

The person who designs the system is the one who supports it

Bittu Roy

Founder & CEO, Riyogya

Sindhanur, Karnataka

Bittu is a full-stack developer who still writes the code. He designed the architecture behind Riyogya's School Management, Hospital Management and ERP systems, and he is the person who gets the call when a fee counter misbehaves during admission week. That is deliberate: an engineer who never has to support what they ship will eventually ship something unsupportable.

He started Riyogya in Sindhanur rather than moving to a metro, on the argument that this region does not need software written for somebody else's conditions. A system designed in Bengaluru rarely accounts for a weighbridge with no signal, a fee counter in the first week of June, or an OPD queue at ten in the morning. Building here means those are the starting assumptions, not an afterthought.

How the work runs follows from the same idea. Every engagement gets a written scope before it starts. Installation, data migration and staff training happen on site, in the language the staff actually work in. Support comes from the people who built the system rather than a ticket queue — and where one of our own products already fits, we configure it instead of billing for a custom build.

“If configuring something we already built is the cheaper answer for you, that is the answer you get — even when the custom project would have been the bigger sale for us.”

What he works on

Product architecture

The data models and system design behind all three Riyogya products, built to be maintained rather than demonstrated.

ERP & management systems

Mapping how an organisation genuinely runs — including its workarounds — before proposing a system for it.

Web & mobile engineering

Websites, portals and Android apps built for mid-range devices on unreliable connections, because that is what users have.

Technical audits

Independent review of software built by someone else, including when the honest answer is that it does not need replacing.

Riyogya is a small team by design. If you are working with us, you are working with the people who wrote the code — not an account manager relaying messages to an offshore queue.
